Birthday Boy

We ended up making it to the pool yesterday. Once the mist lifted it was a beautiful morning and swimming in a pool in such a stunning location next to the river was a wonderful way to start the day. I want to go as often as I can now!

Today is Dhanushka's birthday, so to celebrate we went to a local restaurant with Amar and two friends from work. Dhanushka said it was his best birthday ever - probably because Amar and I bought him a cake!!!

Yesterday I found out that I've successfully certified as an IELTS writing examiner, which is good news as at the end of the two days training last week I was sure I hadn't done very well. I have another day of training next Monday and if all goes well then I'll also be certified as a speaking examiner.
