An Unexpected Turn of Events

This morning I had a phone call from the British Council in Colombo and I now have an interview on Monday! Not exactly what I was expecting to be doing on my last day in Sri Lanka, but hey.

I'm back in Kandy after staying at one of Dhasnushka's friend's place last night, so if anyone saw or heard the news about the bomb in Colombo yesterday I'm fine. It's a bit worrying, obviuosly, but most of the time things seem ok here.

Tomorrow morning Dhanushka and I are heading to Negombo. My next post will therefore most likely be from Sydney!
