Eating Well

We're in the UK now - staying with my aunt and uncle near Newcastle. We arrived yesterday morning - a short hop from Paris by plane! - and are here until Wednesday.

While we're here we've rented a car, so today we went out with my Grandma and brought her back to my aunt and uncle's to have dinner with us. My aunt is a great cook, so we had quite a feast this evening. Dhanushka is having a great time and has been helped my aunt to prepare dinner. Last night he cooked for the four of us - we brought lots of spices with us from Sri Lanka.

Tomorrow, if the sunny weather continues, we're thinking about heading north along the coast from Newcastle. The NE coast is spectacular and there are some amazing old castles dotted along the coast. I want to try and go across to Holy Island as well - only accessible at low tide.

I have to take my Grandma home now - she gets tired easily.
